Psalms18 | Anna Lissa Jack | A Song of Deliverance
Psalms18 — A Song of Deliverance
Some songs are born in seasons when words alone cannot express what the heart is carrying.
About three years ago, I was in one of the loneliest seasons of my life, approximately a year into grieving the loss of my beloved husband. While staying with my choti (sister), the words of Melek Dawid and this melody captured my heart. Psalm 18 became a place where I could pour out my grief, remember YAH’s faithfulness, and find strength in His promises.
Last year, I decided to experiment with the song in SUNO. I fell in love with the musical production it created, and now I’m ready to share this offering with you.
Every vocal you hear is my own. The melody, musical arrangement, and vocal arrangements are mine, and I played the keyboard introduction. SUNO was used for the musical production.
My prayer is that this song reaches someone who is grieving, feeling alone, or walking through a difficult season. “Sing it when you assemble” May it remind you that YAH is our strength, our refuge, and our deliverer.
