Bri Babineaux’s best single in a while, “Confident” lives up to its title in lyric and overall musical swagger.
Bri channels the vocal sassiness of Erica Campbell and Kierra Sheard on this bubbly song about being secure in the protection of God. “I know where I’m going,” she declares to a finger-snapping beat and there’s no doubt about it.
“Confident” is produced by Silkk Music and reunites Bri with co-writer Makeba Riddick, who also helped craft Bri’s #1 Billboard hit “I Will Wait.”
